Hello, I’m Samiha Rahman, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) based in Canada. With two years of experience, holding an MA and BA Hon., I approach therapy with deep care and a down-to-earth perspective. I’m passionate about supporting individuals, from youth to seniors, navigating life’s challenges, whether it’s the weight of expectations, inner conflicts, or unseen pain. My goal is to help you feel more at home within yourself, your relationships, and your faith. I offer honest, attuned, and compassionate therapy to untangle complex family dynamics, heal relationships with food, and create space for grief and identity. I believe healing comes from reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that need care. My focus areas include eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, grief, relational issues, and emotional dysregulation. I utilize approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), BioPsychoSocial, and Narrative Therapy to tailor my approach to your unique needs. I am committed to serving women and seniors, providing a safe and understanding space for their specific concerns. Additionally, I offer therapy in both English and Bengali, ensuring clear and comfortable communication for all my clients. Together, we can work towards healing and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have long needed care.
